The reason is Lumiton_Fiber repurposes sunlight to emit red/NIR light, so less solar energy remains to heat the fabric. In darker shades, like grey, Lumiton fabrics can be up to 16 F cooler. Benefits include feeling more comfortable and sweating less.
Organic UV Protection
Clothing made with Lumiton_Fiber is almost always UPF 50+. The reason is Lumiton_Fiber also uses UV to create red/NIR light, so UV is "recycled" before it reaches the skin.
